What the record currently supports

  • IAF’s public governance page describes a volunteer Board elected by members, while the public 2025 role statements assign the Chair explicit responsibility for Bylaws compliance, Board accountability, and member communication.
  • The 2009 Bylaws, 2025 AGM record, 2024 Board minutes, and July 2026 roles-and-nominations policy create a traceable comparison set, although several records require member access.
  • IAF’s current member-benefits page says members are provided governance documents, bylaws, AGM materials, Board minutes, and archived governance resources for transparency and informed participation.

What members still need answered

  • A dated change log showing which Board portfolios or stewardship responsibilities were removed, renamed, combined, or reassigned.
  • The authority used for each material change and whether a member vote, Bylaw amendment, or formal consultation was required.
  • A clear account of who now holds accountability for professional development, conferences, certification governance, and oversight of the ED / FICS arrangement.
